Revenue mobilization exercises in the East Mamprusi jurisdiction is a local campaign implemented to boost Internally Generated Funds (IGF) and recover utility debts. These operations target property rates, business permits, and utility bills to fund local infrastructure, sanitation management, and public safety initiatives. At the local government level, Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across Ghana conduct targeted collection drives and enforcement exercises.





Target Areas: The East Mamprusi municipal Assembly focus on collecting property rates, market tolls, and business operating permits. They also regularly target unauthorized billboards and unpermitted commercial structures for removal and surcharges.

Task Forces: The East Mamprusi municipal Assembly often form specialized task forces comprising District Finance Officers (Budget ,Accounts, Internal Audit etc.),NADMO officers, Assembly members, and local security services to visit businesses and identifiable groups for revenue collection.
