The East Mamprusi Municipal Assembly organized nutrition orientation and training activities targeted at food vendors, school feeding caterers, and public health stakeholders.
This year, the East Mamprusi Municipal Assembly initiated a series of nutrition-oriented intervention activities aimed at improving the health and nutritional status of the community as follows:
- Medical Screening for Food Vendors and School Feeding Cooks
- Household Water Treatment and Safe Storage
- Implementation of WASH Behaviour Change through Community Led Total Sanitation
- Food and Cooking Demonstrations in Communities and Health Facilities
- Training on Balanced Diet, Food Hygiene, and Food Safety
- Food Preservation Education for Food Vendors and School Feeding Caterers
- Distribution of Aqua-Tabs
- Provision of Iron and Folic Acid for Pregnant Women
